5 Questions w/ Jessie Webster
Recognize this lovely lady? Well of course you do, it’s none other than Jessie Webster—writer, photographer & designer of Sweet Thing. You can’t deny that Jessie has some serious style and quite the eye behind the lens. May I recommend drooling over her vacation snap shots from a recent trip to Palm Springs? Ahh, I can almost feel the healing powers of the desert heat now…but before you hop over to check those out, let’s see how Jessie answered our 5 Questions shall we?

Q: Item of clothing you can’t live without: Fun flats. As much as I love heels, I can’t get into wearing them during the day. My daily wardrobe consists of a lot of basics and I love the pop of a bright pair of loafers or a metallic oxford.
Q: Favorite tool in your creative arsenal: Well as a photographer that would have to be my camera. I have what is probably an unhealthy love for my camera and am rarely without it.
Q: Totally obsessed with: Glasses. I need glasses for working on the computer, reading and watching tv-so I pretty much wear them all the time. I have a growing collection, which is only possible because now there are so many stylish and inexpensive options out there. I love that I can pick a pair depending on my mood or my outfit.
Q: Currently craving: Quartz terrarium from Score & Solder. This beautiful piece is one part terrarium and one part sculpture. I dream of having it in my home.
Q: Currently working on: Redoing my photography website. It’s embarrassing how long I’ve been meaning to do this, but I’m finally making it happen. It’s been more time-consuming than I imagined to choose which photos best showcase my work. I can’t wait to get it up and running!

I’d have to agree with JW on #1. I LOVE a flat! Living in NYC they are a must have! I am currently in search of new flats for the warmer months. Any fun suggestions? I need a bright pair and a print
