My little guy loves to eat, it's pretty adorable. So, making homemade baby food and feeding the twins has become one of my favorite things at the moment! You should see how many bibs I go through...sheesh. So when I spotted these simple white cotton bibs at the craft store I thought, I could jazz those up! I always need more bibs. *correction at end of post.
Here's how I did it...
Supplies You Need:
White cotton bibs with pocket- I used this one
Cotton fabric
Liquid Stitch
paint brush or foam brush
scissorspaper & pen- for template
Prep: Start by pre-washing bibs and fabric separately.
Step 1: Cut out a piece of paper to the size of the front pocket. (This will be the template)
Step 2: Use paper template to cut out piece of fabric the size of the bib front.
Step 3: Apply Liquid Stitch to bib front and paint on with brush.
Step 4: Press fabric onto glue making sure all edges are securely glued down.
Step 5: Follow packaged directions for drying & washing.
Now let's eat some sweet potatoes!
*CORRECTION: After washing these bibs the liquid stitch did not hold up as well as I would have liked. I'm still looking for an alternate no-sew solution! Any suggestions?
