Freutcake on Vine
Were you witness to the social media explosion yesterday that was Vine? Just when I thought that I couldn’t possibly find room in my heart (or life for that matter) for one more social media platform, along came Vine. It’s the niftiest little app owned by Twitter that helps you create small 6 second looping videos to share socially in a feed format like Instagram.
Here is an example of the roses I cut and arranged on my desk yesterday shared on Instagram…and here is how they came to life on Vine! Intrigued yet?
While my amateur video skills are still pretty rough, I hope you will find the little glimpses of my life interesting…or at least entertaining! So, what’s not to like about Vine? Sadly, Vine does not offer any video editing capabilities so what you shoot is what you get; no filters included. Vine also records sound which could be a fun feature or really frustrating depending on how you film. So, are you already on Vine? What do you like or dislike about the app?

I just joined too! Definitely different…and takes a little to get used to when it comes to timing ,lighting, and sound but overall I think it’s pretty darn cool!!

I missed Vine when it came out yesterday, so was a bit perplexed when my Twitter feed started getting full of videos. Can’t wait to try this out more… looks like you enjoyed using it!

I’m being stubborn. I just can’t do another one lol. I just can’t! Maybe I’ll change my mind down the road, but for now I shall just be one of those odd anomalies who buzz around missing out. FOMO!
I totally understand that! I was hesitant to take on one more form of social media as well. It seems I will never put my phone down now. Enjoy your freedom.

I joined Vine to and so far it’s super fun with the exception of all the white noise! I’m definitely following you and looking forward to more cute videos.
