Spring Nail Tutorial

2013 April 3

It has been entirely too long since my last nail art post and quite frankly I have had little time to even think about painting my nails lately! When I spotted this vibrant floral topped cake on At Home In Love and was inspired to create a spring nail tutorial centered on these florals, I made sure it was quick and easy. Just a few dabs of bright red, pink and grass-green to the tips of your nails results in a hint of spring on every finger. The best part about these “Spring Fling” nails; the messier you paint them the better! Think of it as an abstract floral painting, a Monet of sorts, perfection not required.

Thank you Kelly! That cake is too gorgeous. I am definitely going to have to try a non-frosted cake in the future.

Gorgeous! You are so creative—I would never have thought to pull nail art inspiration from dessert but (duh) that is so genius! Now if only I wasn’t completely horrific at doing my own nails… 🙂 xo Erin
