My Knitted Weekend
Did anyone else enjoy this cold and rainy weekend as much as I did? My weekend consisted of slipping on a pair of warm socks, watching a few good movies, making homemade chicken pot pies (recipe to come) and knitting, yes KNITTING my second cowl scarf. If you follow me on Facebook you may remember me posting this video about a week ago which completely inspired me to try my hand at the art of knitting. Its been quite a few years since I sat knitting with my Grandma, so I headed over to Strands Knitting Studio (the cutest local yarn shop here in San Clemente), purchased my needles, some gorgeous yarn, a simple cowl scarf pattern and got a quick refresher on the basics. Now it’s a week later, I have two scarfs completed and I am literally hooked! Christmas gifts anyone? Me thinks so!

How awesome! You did a great job on that scarf! I only know how to knit the traditional long straight scarf, but this cowl is so cute and convenient. Great job!
