Christmas Orange
I’ve always found it strange that such a bright and refreshing fruit like the orange ripens in the dead of winter. Yet every Christmas I am thankful for sweet and fragrant oranges, studded in cloves or used to brighten up holiday dishes. Since oranges traditionally signified prosperity and the hope of a brighter future, it can’t hurt to have a few more of them around this time of year! In honor of the Christmas orange, this weeks inspiration board is full of citrus inspiration!

Pinterest has seriously improved the Christmas decorating in our house;) The evergreen sprigs with name tags is so much fun. Have a lovely day ahead!
I love that wreath. Where did you find it? We use to get tangerines in our stockings at Christmas and we thought we had hit the mother-load. We never went to the store with Mom when we were kids so had no idea that they were only available in the winter (so long ago). We thought Santa was so clever in bringing us such a tasty treat. The candy canes that were as big as a tree trunk weren’t bad either. Let me know if you make the Citrus Cake as it looks amazing.
Absolutely beautiful!
That citrus cake looks like the most delicious fruity dessert ever! Yum!
Adorable blog
I love it! One of our family’s Christmas traditions is to have orange cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Usually we’d make them from the tube, but last year I determined to make them from scratch as a new tradition.
yeah… It’s true that orange symbolizes prosperity.. that’s why in our Chinese New year we must have and serve oranges… but we always serve them fresh.. for the preserved one we just buy at the store.
