Sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones. This past weekend, while visiting home, we stopped for a drink at our favorite coffee shop then quickly darted into the neighboring antique store to cool off and rummage through piles of old treasures. Hodgson's Antiques has been around as long as I can remember and I make it a point of stopping in whenever I'm in town. I love flipping through the crates of old Life Magazines or the basket of vintage matchbooks. This trip I found a case of amazing old sunglasses and vintage baubles. I love Hodgson's...it always leaves me a bit dusty, but inspired.

Those sunglasses are amazing! I might have to go trawling through some vintage shops to find me some like that.

Super cute finds! We used to have so many wonderful sections of antique stores all around town but since the down economy almost all of them have closed their doors. Miss those outings! Sounds like you had a fun weekend!

It so sad that small shops and antique stores are becoming more and more rare. Even more of a reason to support small businesses in our own towns!
