Cookie Gift Packaging

2011 December 20

This year’s Cookie Gift Guide just wouldn’t be complete without sharing a few simple packaging ideas to help you get those delicious cookies under the tree! These are some of my favorite supplies and techniques to make your cookie tins, boxes, or jars ready for the big day.

Package 1: Use white paper boxes (found at Michaels or Sur la Table) lined with colorful tissue paper to package your cookies. Simple paper cupcake liners make great cookie dividers and can add color to your box.
Package 2: Gingersnaps or other round cookies can be placed in clean mason jars (found at your local hardware store) and wrapped up with festive ribbon.
Package 3: Old fashioned metal cookie tins are always a great packaging solution (online or at Micheals) especially if your cookies are traveling long distances!
Package 4: Use corrugated cardboard to separate your cookies and tie stacks up with bakers twine. (cardboard found at Dick Blick, Bakers twine found at Sur la Table)
