Favorite Flavor + Violet Cassis

When it comes to trying new flavors, I am a bit of an adventurer! Which doesn’t always pay off for me, like the time I ordered bacon ice cream…yikes. So naturally, I had to try the Violet Cassis Macaron from Lette along with my other more predictable flavor choices like the always-tasty Salted Caramel. And while Jason happily munched on his Pumpkin macaron, I sat savoring the flavors of the florally violet and sweet, rich black current jam of the Violet Cassis. I may have just found a new favorite flavor combination!

Ooh these look decilicious. If you love interesting flavours and are ever in Rome I know a great gelateria you have to visit. When we were on holiday there we *had* to get a gelato there everyday. Flavours included: cherry tomato with white chocolate and basil; peach and lavendar; sage; and so many more. They rotated daily.
Oh that sounds like heaven! If I am ever lucky enough to visit Rome I will definitely email you!!!
