Sweet & Salty

On Saturday, Jason and I got our salty & sweet fix with an ice cream sandwich and salting station at The Meadow in Greenwich Village. Of the four flavors offered, my favorites were the Kauai Guava salt with its subtle smokey flavor and the Fleur de Sel with its briny quality. A fun and delicious way to cool down on a hot day and taste something new! On a side note: I might be salting all of my future desserts.

I grew up with ice cream sandwiches and love them!!
What?! Salt on ice cream? That’s crazy. I may have to try it ….:)
