Baby it’s still cold outside! So why is it that after the holidays all I want to do is slim down, lighten my meals, and fit a little less tightly into my skinny jeans? Shouldn’t these thoughts wait until spring? Well, cold weather or not I welcome these healthier cravings. Here are a few lighter soup recipes I’ve pinned this week; perfect for fending off the January cold. Do you have any healthy winter recipes you’d like to share?

Recipes: 1| White Bean Chili with arugula and winter citrus salad 2| Chicken-and-Ricotta Meatballs in Broth 3| Fresh Tomato Soup 4| Garlicky Kale and White Bean Stew

The desire to eat fresh, light food probably is helped along by all these yummy ideas we just can’t avoid. When we see these great looking soups, we just want to try them!
Thanks for sharing, your post is pinned! I also am a lover of soups. I don’t think of them in their health context, they are the natural winter comfort food for me. There are few things as cosy as warming your hands by cupping them around a hot bowl of soup and leaning over to inhale the steamy aromas 😀
