Do you currently have a recipe obsession? For the last month I have been slightly enamored with the idea of making an English trifle after seeing this recipe on Two Chums. Buttery rich pound cake, sweet jam, fresh berries and creamy custard all layered together with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Serve it in this modern glass trifle bowl and you are sure to have an elegant and decadent dessert!

    So I love everything about this but the thing is, the boyfriend? He isn’t too big on sweets. So if I made this I’d have to eat it. Moral of the story is I need to have more dinner parties.

    Yum, trifle with Bonne Maman! Now if only I had somewhere to keep that trifle bowl.

      Use it as a vase for fruit or flowers on your table when it’s not working as a trifle bowl? Just a thought. It is lovely. :)

    I actually have that trifle bowl and it is fabulous! I also have a slightly different trifle recipe Leah if you’re ever interested! I am loving the Taste and Table series too.

    I love trifle when it’s done well! I love the cream/custard/sponge layers the best!
