2012 March 22

Yesterday I took a mini lunch break to whip up a quick Caprese salad and enjoy the sun on our back patio. The birds where chirping, the sun was warming, and the buzz of spring was definitely in the air. I know I’ll spend many more spring afternoons enjoying lunch outdoors. Making this grilled peach & arugula salad to serve on that chickadee platter is definitely on my spring time lunch list!

      Grilling fruit really is the best! It brings out so much flavor.

    what an interesting combination! I’ve never tried grilled peaches and something tells me I’ve yet to live as a result. I’m going to try it for sure!

      No I never have! That sound like it would be good over ice cream. :)

    I swear I’m looking at that ball of mozzarella cheese and my mouth is watering!! Caprese salad is one of my favorites, if not my favorite ;)
