Bargain Shopper

2012 August 29

I will be the first person to admit that I’m not the best bargain shopper. I often settle for the first “must have” item I find…you know…the full priced stuff. (Ya, I’m working on that) This week however I found this amazing belt at Target which looks surprisingly similar to a J.Crew accessory I’ve been admiring, as well as a couple pieces from Crossroads to add to my closet. Here’s the best part, Crossroads bought some of my old clothing and gave me store credit towards the new stuff. Um…why don’t I do this all the time? So I’m curious to know…do you shop full price? Where do you find the best deals?

I go in spurts, sometimes I find good deals and other times I find myself splurging on certain items.

Ooh I love a great deal! I get really excited when I see the original items and then the similar but less expensive ones. Great job accomplishing that! I usually shop at target for the best deals. I find lots of great things there.

Try Buffalo Exchange! It’s even better than Crossroads! Xoxo

Wow, seriously great minds! I have that exact same belt and I wear it constantly. It looks so much more expensive than it is and I get tons of compliments. I also have that exact same H&M dress in neon pink and even though I paid full price for it, it was still only $17! (I have it in mint and grey too!) I’m a big fan of the bargain hunt, so congrats on your newly acquired skills!

Nice finds! Crossroads is THE spot. I used to go there first before any other shop because they really do carry a great selection for a fraction of the regular retail price.

I’ve had that target belt for three years now. It’s amazing. I wear it with practically everything, and it’s held up very well. If you have the time to look around and try stuff on, Target is a great place to find cheaper, “copy-cat” items that are made fairly well, especially with the trendy stuff. I also love H&M and Forever 21 (if I have the patience). Nice finds!
