A Gap Giveaway
When Gap asked me to try out their new 1969 Skimmer jeans and style them five ways (see my styles here) I had no idea that these pants would turn out to be my new favorite jean. Since last weeks post I’ve unintentionally styled a dozen other looks with these skimmers simply because I wear them so often. Like I said, I LIVE in my jeans!
Now onto the good stuff…
Because I love them so much, I’ve decided that all of you should own a pair of my new favorite jeans as well. Now through February 27th all Gap Skimmer jeans are $20 off* in stores which makes it easy and affordable to get yourself a pair.

I’d get some bright colored skimmers – teal, or maybe red, and pair them with a crisp white button down, my black and white polka dot blazer, and black pointy flats!

This is awesome since I just ran to the Gap today for the promotion and bought the Skimmers in the chamo print! I’m thinking of pairing them with the mint sweater that I bought there today (at 40 percent off!). What can I say, I love the Gap! Awesome giveaway!

I too live in my jeans – they are the best foundation for an outfit. My fave way to wear skimmers is to pair them with brightly colored shoes (like lemon yellow huaraches from Frye), a white cotton T-shirt, and a big, long, beaded necklace. It always feels effortless and is an easy way to show some personality. Leah, such a great giveaway. It was fun to see the “sneak peeks” on your Instagram feed since I love shopping at GAP!

I love the mint skimmers – perfect for spring! Paired with a fitted blazer or camel sweater.
I would pair together the peach polka dot skimmers and a gray sweater with a big, neon pink heart on it. I love those colors for the transition from winter to spring.

The classic! Skimmers with a button down, vest, pearls, and a cute scarf. Can’t forget the riding boots to tuck them into! I’d prefer flats but it’s still really cold up north.

My favorite way to style my skinnys (or skimmers in this case!) is cuffed at the bottom with some cute heels, a tee, and a dramatic scarf. It’s so hard to go wrong with that look!!

I am in love with the polka dot skimmers. Since it is still cold in New York I would most likely style them with a jcrew purple and gray color blocked sweater.

Not only is the Gap Skimmer pant the perfect transition into Spring, it is also an amazing fit for my petite body! I would love to pair the Skimmer with bold black and white stripes if they were brightly colored ones, or I absolutely love how Freutcake has paired the two conversation print with patterned Skimmer! To polish the look I’d add a statement necklace and nude flats.
Pair a dark pair of 1969 with a white cord jacket and hoodie for a casual look for work while staying warm!

I’d want bright skimmers to liven up my mood. I’d pair it up with a chambray shirt and my cute Cole Haan oxfords. Although since we are in the dead of winter, I’d have to wait until spring to sport this outfit.
