    Shucks Oyster Bar

If you follow me on Instagram you may notice that Wednesday evenings are filled with photos of fresh produce, oysters and ice cream (All the very best things!) from the Altadena Farmers' Market. I was an instant lover of this little market and its expertly curated vendors; like Mother Moo Creamery, Sqirl Jams and Shucks Oyster Bar, just to name a few. Oh, Shucks Oyster Bar...you are the definition of why I love food. Last week the owner was kind enough to school me on the differences between his fresh Washington Oysters and New England varieties. Shucked on the spot and served on a bed of ice with a fresh condiment bar, it's not an exaggeration to say that these were the creamiest, freshest, and most succulent oysters I have ever tasted.
