A chocolate martini served inside a chocolate Easter bunny makes an adorably delicious Easter dessert cocktail.
Chocolate Bunny Martini
If you enjoy sipping on a dessert cocktail after dinner, you will love this Chocolate Bunny Martini recipe. While Espresso Martinis are delicious and one of my favorite sweet drinks, Chocolate Martinis are down right decadent and even more indulgent served in an edible chocolate cup.
Easter Cocktail
If you are looking for the perfect cocktail to serve this Easter, a Chocolate Bunny Martini is it. Festive and full of chocolate flavor, this drink is the adult version of an Easter basket treat.
Chocolate Bunny Martini Ingredients
- Vodka
- Chocolate Cream Liqueur - Mozart Chocolate Cream is the liqueur I recommend. I used the classic chocolate for this recipe but you can also make it white chocolate by using their white chocolate vanilla cream.
- Bailey's Irish Cream
- Ice
- Mint
- Chocolate Bunnies - I recommend using Lindt chocolate bunnies because they are hollow inside and very sturdy.
Chocolate Bunny Cups
Turning chocolate bunnies into cocktail cups is incredibly easy. Using a sharp serrated knife gently cut back and forth using a sawing motion until you've removed the ears. They should break right off relatively easily.
I've only used Lindt chocolate bunnies for this and they do not leak so I would absolutely recommend this brand.
How to Make a Chocolate Martini
- Prep Chocolate Bunnies if you are using them for glasses or chill a martini glass.
- In a shaker filled with ice add vodka, chocolate liqueur and Baileys.
- Shake until well chilled about 30 seconds.
- Strain into chocolate bunnies or cocktail glass.
- Garnish with mint and serve immediately.
If you would like to serve this classic chocolate martini in martini glass, I would recommend chilling the glass and rimming in chocolate syrup before serving.
If you have children attending Easter and want to make a kid friendly drink, I recommend filling chocolate bunnies with chocolate milk! Reserve white chocolate bunnies for the kids and dark chocolate for the adults to differentiate.
