Ladies who Lunch at Short Cake

Yesterday, I met up with a group of fellow food, fashion, and lifestyle bloggers for a ladies luncheon hosted by the lovely Nastassia of Let Me Eat Cake at Short Cake LA in The Original Farmers Market. Any chance I have to eat amazing food with a group of fellow food loving ladies is a good day in my book! Among the hustle and bustle of the busy Farmers Market, we ladies took over the entire counter of Short Cake and sat sampling just about anything and everything off the menu. My favorite lunch items included the Egg Salad Croissant Sandwich with watercress, chive and radish, & the Seed and Sprout Salad. For dessert I favored the Brunette Bars with pine nuts and thyme & the Sour Cherry Pie.

Later as I drove back home to San Clemente I thought to myself...I could totally be one of those "ladies who lunch"...then I slipped into my food coma. Thank you Short Cake for a fabulous meal!
