This year I am really making an effort to give more homemade gifts to friends and family. When I was asked by Anna to contribute to IHOD's annual Holiday Gift Guide I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share one of my homemade gift ideas with all of you! Let's get real for a moment; none of us have the time to make complicated homemade gifts when purchasing something is usually so much faster.  Busy life...let me introduce you to Homemade Blackberry Syrup. It's quick to make, the packaging is simple and best yet, it's absolutely delicious. I hope you will take a moment to read IHOD's beautiful homemade gift guide, try this recipe and make time for a few simple homemade gifts!

Do you plan to make any homemade gifts this year? I'd love to hear your ideas!

I don't know if I've ever told you, but blackberry is one of my favorite flavors. I bet this would be delicious over just about any breakfast bread item...pancakes, coffee cake, waffles, french toast...mmmmmm
