What do you consider the perfect Sunday? Two weeks ago I had a pretty good one if I do say so myself. Breakfast at Sqirl LA, followed by a trip to the Renegade Craft Fair in Downtown. It doesn't get much better than jam for breakfast and an afternoon shopping creative goods made by talented crafters.
I highly recommend ordering the Roasted Brussels with chicharron and poached egg as well as a side of freshly made Biscuits & Jam at Sqirl. If you really want to indulge, try the toast with Santa Rosa Plum chutney, sheep's cheese, egg and bacon. It was rich but delicious and the perfect breakfast for a day spent walking the craft fair.
I may be a bit bias when it comes to my friends and their work, but of all the great booths at the fair Ann's was by far the best. Recognize her 4 Ways to Use Candy Canes illustration? I loved seeing it in person.
...and because Joanne and I just couldn't pass up the chance to don mustaches and spent a little too long in the photo booth, we did just that!
