    Piñata Party with Anthropologie

A few weeks ago I heard the term "Galentine's Day" (celebrating Valentine's Day with girlfriends) for the very first time. I had to smile because quite honestly Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated with much more excitement by the ladies I know then by the gents. It seems that Valentine's Day, or the entire month of February for that matter, turns into an excuse for us gals to eat way too much chocolate and wear pink on the regular. Not to mention don heart paraphernalia all month-long. I LOVE IT!

Last Thursday night's Piñata Party with Anthropologie turned out to be quite the Galentine's Day spectacular.  I do have to give a hand to the lone husband who attended and even crafted with us...what a catch!

    Pinata Party

Anthropologie really out did themselves with an array of V-day sweets and Ginger Prosecco Cocktails for us to snack & sip on as we crafted.

    Pinata Party

I had such a fabulous night fringing crepe paper, sculpting Piñatas and spending time with new and old friends.

    Pinata Party

Pinata PartyThank you to (team Freutcake) Marisa & Joanne for helping with the event, to Anthropologie for hosting, and to all of you who attended and crafted your hearts out! It really was an fantastic party.

    Pinata Party

    Until next year!

Those look too cute! Maybe I'll adapt it for St. Patrick's Day, since that's next and my favorite holiday. I grew up in Boston and I'm of Irish descent so it comes with the territory!
