    DIY Thank You Flower Pots

Summer is on its way and I don’t know about you but I am dying to clean up my garden, little as it may be. After months of feeling sick with this pregnancy I am really ready to get moving and shaking on things before the babies come! But first, I wanted to share a simple and fun “thank you” project I created with Seattle Chocolates. Perfect for friends, family, or neighbors this time of year when everyone is outside planting and enjoying the sunshine.

    DIY Thank You Flower Pots

Simple custom painted flower pots filled with Thanks-olate Truffle Bars, flower seeds, a small bouquet of fresh roses and a gardening tool or two is an easy way to show someone your appreciation. These Thanks-olate chocolate bars are my favorite with little bits of toffee and sea salt, so good! Who wouldn’t want to receive chocolate and flowers as a thank you? The answer is no one.

    DIY Thank You Flower Pots

Whether you have a neighbor who watered your plants while you were away on a trip or a friend who simply deserves a thank you treat, these pots are perfect. Even a small gesture is huge when it comes to helping someone out and saying thank you is the same!

    Here’s how to make them…

    DIY Painted Thank You Pots

    Supplies:
    Seattle Chocolates, Thanks-olate Truffle Bars
Gardening tools (check the Michael's dollar bins for these)
    Terracotta flower pots, painted white
    Yellow outdoor paint
    Paintbrushes
    Fresh mini roses
    Paper filler

    DIY Painted Thank You Pots

    Steps:
    1. Paint flowerpots white and allow to dry. I used Rustoleum White Lacquer outdoor spray paint for this.
    2. Decorate pots with yellow paint by dipping the bottom, painting on polka dots, dashes, or whatever pattern you like. Allow to dry completely.
    3. Fill with shredded paper filler and stuff with goodies such as a small gardening tool, a couple packets of flower seeds, fresh roses and a Thanks-olate Truffle Bar.
    4. Deliver to friends or neighbors!
