    Wurstkuche LA

This weekend we experienced a glimpse of summer in southern California! With the sun out and temperatures reaching the 90's, Sunday had hot dog on the barbeque written all over it...or even better a gourmet sausage from Wurstkuche in Downtown LA. Located right across the street from my favorite little Pie Hole, Wurstkuche specializes in one thing and does it well, grilling and serving exotic sausages. I ordered a Filipino Maharlika, sweet pork sausage with spicy peppers and caramelized onions while Jason ordered the Mango Jalapeño chicken sausage with onions and sauerkraut. We rounded that off with a large order of Belgium fries, a variety of dipping sauces and ice cold German Beer. It was the perfect summer lunch...in March.

Ah I had such a crazing for that place when I was in town! We never made it since the lines are so unpredictably long but this post is *almost* good enough to satisfy the craving 🙂 looks like you just walked in, too!
