A Mystical Halloween Table

Set a mystical, magical, and all together delightful Halloween table this year. Butterflies take flight from the curio cabinet of Halloween barware and land atop a tablescape of crystal ball plates, moon and star napkins, and individual domed charcuterie plates.

Mystical Halloween Decorations & Tablescape

This year I'm really inspired by butterflies in Halloween decor. They have such a whimsical, apothecary feel to them and also add a more feminine touch than the bats I use on my mantle.

The inspiration for my table came from this set of butterflies and these crystal ball plates.

Halloween Table Centerpiece

To adorn the center of the table, I used a paper star runner covered with a black cheesecloth, mini white pumpkins and black candle sticks in holders.

My favorite Grecian bust planter reins as centerpiece over the Halloween table with the addition of glittering black butterflies adorning her face and hair.

Individual Domed Charcuterie Boards

Serve guests their own individual domed charcuterie boards to snack on with a glass of wine. Filled with prosciutto, fresh figs with honey, a wedge of Syrah Soaked Tuscan Cheese from Trader Joe's, a few fresh blackberries, rosemary crackers and a candied orange slice; this is the perfect sweet and salty charcuterie plate for one.

Wrap them all up in clear domed boxes for a pretty presentation.

Halloween Cheese & Wine Party

To pair with the mini charcuterie plates, serve chilled Pinot Noir or your favorite red wine. Matte black and gold cocktail coupes are always chic and scull cocktail picks add a spooky touch.

Halloween Charcuterie

If you are entertaining a larger group for Halloween, remove the individual place settings and serve one large Halloween Charcuterie board. Guest can help themselves to whatever they fancy.

Small fairy lights wound between pumpkins and through candle sticks add another layer of light to the table runner and battery operated candles are great for illuminating the inside of a creepy curio cabinet.
